Discover how Bring Your Own Vulnerable Driver (BYOVD) tactics evolved from lone-operator tricks into a commercialized, tiered EDR-killer service economy.
Read why effective AI governance demands tamperproof, hardware-rooted security controls that autonomous agents cannot reach, bypass, or rewrite at runtime.
The native Sublime Security integration sends email detections into Elastic Security, where phishing incident response can tie a quarantined email to what happens next on the endpoint and pull the threat from every mailbox it reached.

Recorded Future launches Model Context Protocol (MCP), providing AI agents and LLM workflows direct access to the Intelligence Graph® for accurate, automated decision-making.
On Friday I gave the closing keynote at the WeAreDevelopers World Congress North America in San Jose. I tied together the key trends from the past year into a chronological exploration of everything that happened in 2026. The video is on YouTube; here are my annotated slides and notes to accompany the talk.
And as an annotated presentation:
#
I'm going to give a lightning tour of everything that has happened so far in 2026. The year isn't over yet!
#
For me, 2026 started a couple of months earlier in November 2025.

November saw the release of two important models: Claude Opus 4.5 and GPT-5.1.
As is usually the case with new models, these were incremental improvements on the models that came before them.
But every now and then when a model improves, it crosses an invisible line where something that didn't really work starts working.
In this case, the thing that started working was their coding agents. Claude Code had been around since February 2025

CISA has added two new vulnerabilities to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) Catalog, based on evidence of active exploitation.
CVE-2026-88771 Citrix NetScaler Improper Input Validation Vulnerability
CVE-2026-88772 Citrix NetScaler Improper Restriction of Operations within the Bounds of a Memory Buffer Vulnerability
These types of vulnerabilities are frequent attack vectors for malicious cyber actors and pose significant risks to the federal enterprise.Binding Operational Directive (BOD) 26-04: Prioritizing Security Updates Based on Risk establishes vulnerability management requirements for Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB) agencies. BOD 26-04 reinforces the importance of the KEV Catalog and requires federal agencies to prioritize rapid remediation of high-risk vulnerabilities, specifically those identified by Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) listed in CISA’s KEV Catalog on publicly exposed assets that grant total control of the asset post-exploitation, wh
CISA is amplifying Citrix’s disclosure of eight new vulnerabilities affecting Citrix NetScaler ADC and Citrix NetScaler Gateway products: CVE-2026-88771, CVE-2026-88772, CVE-2026-88773, CVE-2026-88774, CVE-2026-88775, CVE-2026-88776, CVE-2026-88777, and CVE-2026-88778.
CISA has added CVE-2026-88771 and CVE-2026-88772 to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) Catalog. Both are critical, zero-day vulnerabilities that can independently enable remote code execution. CISA has received reports and partner threat intelligence confirming that threat actors are actively exploiting these vulnerabilities globally.
Because updating Citrix NetScaler appliances can be complex and may require downtime, CISA is issuing this Alert to help organizations assess exposure, prioritize mitigation, and account for these vulnerabilities into their risk-management activities.
Given the potential consequences of successful exploitation and the fact that malicious actors are exploiting at least some of t
CISA added CVE-2026-65660 to its KEV catalog, giving federal agencies a patching deadline of September 28.
