Document all personal data processing activities in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023.
Why you need this: The DPDP Act 2023 requires Data Fiduciaries to maintain records of data processing activities. A Data Processing Register (also called Record of Processing Activities or RoPA) documents what personal data you process, why, on what legal basis, with whom you share it, and how long you retain it. This register is the starting point for DPDP compliance — and is likely to be requested by the Data Protection Board during investigations.
